Welcome VMS 7th graders!
Please click the following link: http://www.freerice.com/category and Identify Countries on the Map. You will play for ten minutes and then reflect on your achievement by answering these questions on my blog: Have you used this website before? How many grains of rice did you earn? Did you use any resources (planner, textbook, neighbor) to complete the quiz? Why or why not?
Welcome to Mrs. Woerner’s 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies! Seventh graders will focus on the Eastern Hemisphere (Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe) from ancient civilizations to the present. Eighth graders will focus on United States' history from Revolution to Reconstruction. In addition to using course textbooks, we will also be using primary sources, activities, projects, videos, and readers’ theater to expand our understanding of history, geography, government, economics, and society.

We did not use any material resources however we did use each other (and Mrs. Woerner's brilliance.) We would DEFINITELY play this again (but not together because Joe was too loud.)
