3. I am staying in Iowa but we have a 3 day bike race in Iowa City at the Johnson County fairgrounds. My brother and I am racing Saturday and Sunday and my dad is racing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

ReplyDelete2. The most surprising and interesting fact that I learned was that a Turducken is a duck stuffed in a chicken stuffed in a turkey with layers in between. Without really thinking about it, that kind of sounds disgusting, but it's really only different layers of meat. Might have to try it sometime
3. I am going over to a family friends house on Thursday to watch Thursday Football. Packers vs. Lions and the Packers better win or else I will cry. On Saturday I am going to a cabin that was rented and my dad's side of the family is having our Christmas gathering early this year, so I will already get some Christmas gifts. On Wednesday I am going to hang out with friends (Taylor Bruns and Olivia Frazier) and probably just relax on the other days. Can't wait for football!!!!!

ReplyDelete2. The most surprising fact was that Abraham Lincoln made Thanksgiving on the last November because it just seems like to late that the holiday was undesided for so long.
3. I'm going to Illinois to visit my sister and her husbands family too. We are going to have a really big feast and everything. I think it will be really fun.

3. This holiday I'm going to my grandparents house. My cousins from illinois are coming. We usually have around 50 people in my grandparent's house.I usually spend the night.Then we pick names for each cousin for secret santa for christmas.

ReplyDeleteQuestion 2) The most surprising question two me was that the most traditional side dishes they had at the first Thanksgiving Dinner was corn and pumpkin. I thought it would be cranberry sauce and stuffing because those play big parts in your Thanksgiving dinner!
Question 3) This Thanksgiving we are going to Minnesota to see my Grandma. IT'S A LONG DRIVE!!!!! (5hrs.)

ReplyDeleteI didn't really find any surprising facts. Either I knew it or not. One fact I got right though and though interesting was the turducken. Sounds interesting. I wonder what it would taste like?
I don't have a lot of plans for this thanksgiving. I guess just eat a nice meal with my family and spending time with each other. The other days I will probably just try to enjoy my time before the vacation is over.

3.Well every thanksgiving I go down to my Nanna's a hour and a half away and hang out with Cuzin's and everyone and then Wednesday my family is leaving and going down there and I am waking up Thursday and at 12:00 in the morning I'm going shopping and then coming back the next night at like 8:00 and then coming back Saturday or Sunday

ReplyDelete2. The most interesting fact that I thought was that the pilgrims had corn and pumpkin as there side dishes. I though it was stuffing and cranberry sauce.
3. For Thanksgiving my family doesn't really do anything my brother and sister will come home from college and we well have a Thanksgiving dinner. We will probably put up are Christmas tree, but on Friday my mom and I will go shopping then we always have a party at my house with all the people we camp with in the summer for Thanksgiving.

ReplyDelete2. The most interesting facts of the quiz was that William Bradford in 1621, was responsible for the arranged for a harvest festival known as Thanksgiving today. I surprised me because I didn't know it was the governor who was responsible for it.
