3. A fact that I got correct was that John Adams was the first president to stay in the white house. The movie about John Adams made me remember this and Mrs. Woerner repeated it once or twice after the movie.

George Washington had to change his name, i thought it was a little weird that he had to change it. It made more sense once i read that they changed from the Julian to the Gregorian calendar.

ReplyDeleteThe one fact that surprised me was that George Washington had to change his Birthday, just because the calender changed. I think it'd be funny to celebrate your Birthday one year on the 11th, then the next 10 days afterwards! One of the questions I got right was that John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both died on July 4th, 1826; the 50th anniversary of the signing of The Constitution. We learned that this year in S.S.
