I think the Monkey that was brave enough made didn't make it across to the other side. I mean you could and most likely will get hurt! By jumping he could get swallowed up by the currents, hit a rock or drown. If i was the Monkey, i wouldn't have jumped, even if i was brave! I would be really surprised if the Monkey made it. I think the best way to get across is to find another way around like go around the island.
ReplyDeleteI think that the new monkey first starts going through the stuff. Then he gets in a lot of trouble and it would take along time to get through it. Next he starts going again and something pops up. After that he finds someone on the way that will help him. Then they start going and they get what they came for. Then he comes back and he becomes king.

ReplyDeleteThen all of a sudden the Stone Monkey jumped right back out. "So, I am now your king," said Monkey. All the other monkeys just sat there in awe. Then one foolish monkey stepped up and said "O ya, I can do that." So he stepped up to the cliff and jumped. All the monkeys sat there for nine days and nine nights. The foolish monkey never showed.
I don't like the book, because at the end the monkey jumps through the water. It don't say he comes back out or any thing. i think at the end he should come back and the monkey keep making him do other things. At the end the last thing he has to do he has to is climb the tallest mountain. When he is going up the monkeys push a giant bolder on him he gets crushed. Then he bursts through the rocks and keeps climbing and then the monkeys let him be there leader.
ReplyDeleteI think that the stone monkey will reach the top of the waterfall, but when he comes back the other monkeys won't think he did. The stone monkey will get upset because he was brave enough to do it and he was made a promise. I think that the the other monkeys will still not make him king no matter what. After this I think the stone monkey will get very upset and will start something bad. The stone monkey I think will do something that will be a great disaster to the world and will make it even worse for monkeys. He also might do something to the heavens. Maybe he will make the bright light even brighter.
ReplyDeleteAs the monkey jumped into the waterfall their was a brilliant flash of light that came. As soon as the light came it left. After waiting several min. for the small monkey to back they began to doubt the small monkey would ever come back out. But the monkey jumped out unharmed. As they promised the small monkey became their king.
ReplyDeleteI think that the monkey doesn't come back alive because the monkey that kept laughing said that your not brave enough to do it and you won't come back alive. So that made me think that the monkey will ether get hurt or even die! I also think that maybe on the other side would be another mountain or lead somewhere that they don't know what it is. But if he doesn't come back then the other monkeys will try and go find him and see what happened and what's going on. But i think whatever is on the other side is going to be maybe dangerous because if they are saying that you won't come back alive then it's obviously not safe. So i think that the monkey is going to get hurt or die.

ReplyDeleteAfter he jumps through he finds a wonderful place. It is like a hybrid between the earth and heavens. This place is so beautiful that stone monkey totally forgets about the other monkeys. The other monkeys are so confused that they jump through to see what is on the other side. When they see it they see it and they all stay and make stone monkey their king. After a while they all want to see how the earth has changed so they go back, but what they don't know is that if you leave you can never come back. Eventually all the monkeys leave except for stone monkey who stays there until other curious monkeys come through.

ReplyDeleteAfter awhile of waiting for the stone monkey to come back, they decided to leave. They assumed he had died. But of course as they started to head back, there was a noise from behind them; it was the stone monkey! He was still alive and then all of a sudden the stone monkey proclaimed,"I have been behind the waterfall and I have not died," then he paused for a dramatic affect,"You promised me something, I am now your king!" Every monkey was completely flabbergasted, they all believe no one would be able to come back. Then all of sudden they shot questions at the stone monkey as though their lives depended on it. "What's is behind the waterfall," one asked, "How did you survive?" But the stone monkey didn't reply he just marched forward and stated," I am your king follow me!"
Thats what I think happened. (Maybe? I'm not really sure?)
I think that the monkey will come up out of the water somehow. The curious monkey will maybe find another place from the waterfall he fell in.
ReplyDeleteOr the curious monkey get into curious trouble and he didn't live through felling in the waterfall. And the other monkeys found him at the end of the waterfall. Maybe other felled sorry for him
I think that the monkey will make it passed it and then come back. All of the other monkeys will be so impressed that they will make him their king. The Jade Emperor will find out about him and will become worried. The monkeys will all want to be around the monkey king. They will all help out in the fight between the monkey king and the Jade Emperor.
ReplyDeleteThen the monkeys waited and waited to see if the monkey would or could survive the waterfall. In a few minutes all the monkeys heard this loud crash and they all thought it was the stone monkey hitting the bottom but they have no idea how wrong they were. 10 minutes past and nothing happened so they all left except the curious monkey he stayed and waited until 11:59 at night when he saw this strange light coming from the waterfall and saw the stone monkeys head and he winked at the curious monkey so he ran back to his clan screaming and yelling saying that he survived and they have a king but nobody belived him so he said "fallow me ill show you" so he confidently walked back to the waterfall but the stone monkey was not there so the whole clan went back home and sooner or later the curious monkey left but looked back for one more time and saw a wink.
ReplyDeleteI think what will happen is that since the book is called the Magical Monkey King im guessing that he returns and tells them whats behind the waterfall. I think that the Jade emperor and her kingdom or whatever is behind the waterfall. And the emperor will help see the monkeys and keep them in a zoo or a nicer place and the stone monkey is the king. They probably go back to the waterfall and arnt terrified anymore. They can live in the forest and the emperors kingdom. And they live happily ever after.
ReplyDeleteI think that the monkey through to the other side but didn't return because it lead some where off the earth. It probably lead to the heavens and he became the god of the monkeys up there. He might of disolved because he was different than the other monkeys and he was made of something else. There could of a cave been a cave behind the waterfall and he lives in there and didn't return.

I also think that eventually he would leave from being king. Then he would go and accept different quests around the world. He would be a true brave hero.

Then he will lead them to the new land and that will be their new home. The Jade Emporer will see that they have found his secret land and will fight the monkey king. The monkey king will win and become the ruler of the universe and be kind to all the monkeys.
ReplyDeleteWhat I think is going to happen next is the monkey is going to go through the waterfall. He's going to survive going through it. Then he's going to come back out alive. The other monkeys aren't going to keep their promise. The monkey is going to get really mad, and finally all the monkeys are going to agree to let the monkey who went through become king. Or they are going to keep saying that he's not going to become their king and something bad is going to happen.
ReplyDeleteHere is what I think happened to the monkey. I think that the monkey made it past the waterfall but got injured. I think that there was a desert behind there. I think that after awhile the monkeys got nervous and went behind the waterfall and saved him. Even though he was injured I think they made him the king because of his bravery.

ReplyDeleteThe monkeys watched in awe as the mysterious boastful monkey disappeared from sight into the waterfall. Suddenly the grandmother burst out in sobs, stating that if the monkey died, or was injured, she would be accountable. Saying how foolish she was for allowing such nonsense! The other monkeys comforted her and said she couldn't control the strange monkey. They waited 9 days and 9 nights outside the waterfall, until the ninth night the monkey reappeared out of the waterfall. He came back with an abundance of bananas, jewels, and the title of king. After the strange monkey became king, he became slightly less boastful, and overall a very good king. Under the rule of him, the monkeys experienced a 9 years of peace.

Then after he is maid king then Emperor Jade comes and tries to take over the monkey clan. Then the Stone Monkey fights him and becomes the Emperor.
ReplyDeleteI think that there will be a very large, long cave. It would have a small, peaceful stream. It would lead to the heaven. Monkey will find the god. And then he will not ever come back. The other monkeys will be so curious that they will go in a pact and enter the waterfall.

ReplyDeleteI think he will be gone for a while, and the other monkeys would leave the spot and wait somewhere else. Then after waiting there longer, they will send another money, and find a city! The second monkey, will go to find the other one and will get caught up in a group thing on the street. When the first one comes back the other monkeys will explain to the first monkey to go out again and find the second one. While he is gone the second one will return, they will tell him to stay until the first one returns too. When the first one finally returns, he tries to tell them he is king, and the first and second one will fight about it and the first one will win!

ReplyDeleteHe made it to the other side and he found that what was on the other side was the finest fruits along with sparkling crystal blue water. The entire area was full of life and it was so beatiful that no one would ever be able to even imagine it. He shortly returned and he was made king then as soon as he became king he took the monkeys to the world behind the water fall. The monkeys could not to believe their eyes. Then the monkeys started to ask him where he came from and who he was. His answer was," I am the monkey king of the new world!" and decided to tell the monkeys how he came to place in this world.

I think that he finds so much food and water that he will return to his "tribe" of monkeys so they will be very impressed with him. I think that on the other side of the waterfall, the emperor has something stored or that might be an entrance to his kingdom. I think the emperor will not be happy that the brave monkey stole the food and water that he gave to his monkey tribe. The emperor will regret when he said the monkey won't cause any trouble.
ReplyDeleteI think that what happens next is that the emporer finds the monkey and goes to it. He meets the monkey and he talks to him for a while. He likes the monkey and he asked him some questions. So the emporer asked him if he want s to be a magcal king and light up his kingdom for him. The monkey will say yes and they will be friends forever!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, the stone monkey had made it through the waterfall. After he recovered, he looked around. The place past the waterfall was perfect. There was a water spring bubbling up through a crack in the floor. there were giant trees bearing delicious fruit. But farther up in this place was the palace of the Jade God. The Jade God turned him into a human, and he went back and became king of the monkeys.

ReplyDeleteThe monkey was jumping through the waterfall and he got so wet that he began to turn back to stone. When he was completely stone he froze in mid-air and sink to the bottom of the river and the other monkeys found him. They worshiped him as their king even though he was now made of stone again. Then in the middle of the night the lightning came and struck him back to life and he told the other monkeys, who were dumbstruck, how he was made and he found another way around the waterfall without getting as wet or going through it completely. He later lead the other monkeys through it and they all found that the land was far more beautiful behind it. They ended up staying there and living there and that is where they still are today but no human or anything else can find the way to the other side so no one knows that they even exist.
i think the monkey made it to the other side and he found the fruits with crystal blue water and he was the only monkey that had even got over there to see how pretty and wonderful it was because he was a smart monkey and said he could do it and i think he is gonna make it back and he is gonna be a great king because he was made from the earth, he will also show the rest of the monkeys what is over there and they will be amazed and want to keep going and they will love him because he is brave.

And the other monkeys end up going to a different forest. So the monkey has the whole forest to himself. That's what i think happened next.
ReplyDeleteWhen the monkey came up from the water he noticed he was on the other side of the waterfall. He couldn't believe what he saw. He was at the top of the world, but not just any world a magical world! There were tons of people with wings dressed in white dresses. When the monkey looked down he saw his friends all looking at the waterfall in disbelief. The monkey tried yelling there names to tell them what he had discovered, but they couldn't hear him. So the monkey said goodbye to all the people with wings in white dresses and bounced through the clouds to the water. When he swam out of the water all the other monkeys cheered. Then the monkey told everybody about what he had seen. Then when everybody was quiet and the monkey had nothing else to say he bursted out, "I am your new king!" and started laughing. ~The End~
ReplyDeleteWhat i think happens next is the monkey will keep using his eyes. When he uses his eyes everything will start to go away slowly. Because with his eyes he will destroy everything that he has seen. I think the monkey can see what she is saying and is now going to destroy everything and jinks her. When the monkey destroys everything. He will have everything and will be able to have the whole world to himself.
ReplyDeleteHe swam, not struggling, to the other side. When he got out he shook himself dry and looked at what he had found. There were TONS of fruits, and the clearest, cleanest, sparkling water he had ever seen. It was so great he decided not to go back so he wouldn't have to share the magical place he had found.

Soon he became bored with what he had found and decided to go out in search of something better. This is where everyone in heaven ran into trouble!!
When Monkey vanished he hit a solid force of water as fast as a train going by. He was full of air that could last forever. He looked back with his glowing eyes and saw right through the water. Every monkey was watching and the curious monkey was talking. As he came out the other side of the water fall he knew what was coming, because he had been coming here for the delicious fruit and the finest water ever made. He knew he was going to be king for sure. When he passed through the water his fur turned stone so it didn`t her and only polished his skin. The curious monkey pointed to two bright yellow eyes and everyone started screeching. The Monkey came back out and became there king.

Then he went back to the other monkeys with his hands full of fruit. They were so excited and made the Monkey their king. Later all the monkeys lived behind the beautiful waterfall. They had all the food they wanted and lived happily.

ReplyDeleteFinally, the strange, magical monkey returns from the waterfall. In his arms was a perfectly ripe banana. They all gasped in awe.
"On the other side of the water was the most fertile land on all of the Earth!" announced Monkey, "If you come with me, you will never be hungry again!" His eyes glowed even brighter.
"We have no choice but to follow you," said the curious monkey, "If we don't we will all soon starve."
A long silence followed. The monkeys were wary, but desperate.
"If you come with me, you will lead a prosperous life. I will become your king and your stomachs will never growl, nor will your mouth form a frown again," Monkey persuaded.
Eventually, the monkeys will give in, but many monkeys will drown in the river and become puzzled. How did he survive with such ease? They also find that the land is not fertile at all, but a dry desert. They are confused. Monkey's eyes see only good in the world.
He made it to the other side and he found that what was on the other side was the best fruits and and sparkling crystal water. The entire area was so wonderful and beatiful. Then he went back to get his other monkey freinds and took them there. When they got there they all loved it and they made him king. when he was king he felt so good that he brought them there. All the monkeys where happy and loved the new place they lived in and live happily for the rest of there life.
ReplyDeleteThe monkeys wait for hours and hours but he never comes out. So they go back down the stream to where they started. A week has passed and still no sign of him finally he comes out of no where from the stream. They ask "Where have you been?" "I was swimming its an ocean on the other side of the river i was only gone for a few minutes where were you?" You were gone for weeks.
ReplyDeleteHe reached the other side and saw tons of food. But he realized there was no way out. He trying throwing a log into the water but it just popped back up. He then tried to jump back through the water but he also popped back out. He then tries a bug but it pops back out and it is dead. So the monkey realizes he is stuck there forever.
ReplyDeleteI think that the monkey will jump and make it to the other side. Then come back and tell them that there was another place on the other side.Some thing better. Then he will become there king. But they are still wondering what is on the other side so they will try to go over there. But they will get hurt because they are not the stone monkey and they do not have his powers.
ReplyDeleteI think what happens next is the monkey goes in and finds the Jade Emperor. When the Jade Emperor sees the monkey they will try and take him away. But the monkey gets away and goes back to the other side of the waterfall. When he gets there the monkeys are astonished that he is still alive and refuses to be king. He offers giving his crown to the one who said the one who goes through will be king. So he accepts but when he is old and can rule no longer he goes through the waterfall and is captured and taken away.

He doesn't go back because how wonderful it is and,he doesn't want any other monkey take up his place that he found. He thought if I found this place I should be the only one who gets to see how great it is. He doesn't think that the grandma monkey could make it.
ReplyDeleteMonkey found that he was in a whole different world. A world full of wonder. The new world had tall trees full of delicious fruit and a crystal clear stream. One that if you looked in it you would see your reflection like a mirror perfectly. And he decided he better go back out side to become king and lie and say it was just a black cave full of rocks. when he jumped back out everyone ran up with anticieation asking him, "what was on the other side?!" What did you see?!" Monkey went on with his lie and told them it was nothing but dust and rock. The curious monkey came to him and said,"congrats I see you have past the test." Grandmother monkey approached Stone Monkey with her eyes squinted and shaking her head.
ReplyDeleteI think after he jumps he gets to the other side to find a deep cave. Instead of going back right away and becoming their king he explores the cave deeper. once he gets to the end of the cave he finds a huge lake and all around the lake it was exploding with life. He leaves the cave and jumps out of the waterfall to tell everyone but right away once he was out they made him king. after it calmed down a bit he finally he told every one and they lived there.
ReplyDeleteThe story was relay good I relay liked it. I liked it because none of the monkeys would go on the other side of the water fall because the were making excuses to not go, but if I were a monkey in that situation then I would probably do it because I would like to be a king.

An incredibly sneaky but brilliant plan entered his brain, 'They said they'd make me their king,' he thought, 'So what if I promised them even more than they were expecting. They'd have to give me more than power!' He approached the water again and held his breath. He reappeared in front of the monkey clan and they were flabbergasted! 'I reached the other side! It's spectacular! The other side is filled with caves of gold! Come and I'll show you the magnificent find! But only, if you promise I'll be your king.' 'Well, you did reach the other side.' Grandmother monkey said. They went into the cave and he trapped them in there!
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey would have gone through and have seen something that could not have been explained and if you were where the clan of monkeys were then you would see wide mouth monkeys; even grandmother was wide mouth when she had seen the mysterious monkey walk back out of the waterfall with the amazement on his face and he walked as if he ruled them and their lives. Suddenly a monkey stuttered out your not our king your the devil walking in a disguise and the next thing you know he was banished into a land no one not even the king himself could discover and was never seen again after that day no one was to ever disobey the king with that kind of manner unless they want to be banished into eternity.
ReplyDeleteI think that Monkey easily went through the waterfall. If you think about it, Monkey could make a beam of light all the way up to heaven, and laugh such a laugh that it reached all the way to Heaven.
ReplyDeleteMonkey burst through the waterfall, easily going past it. He saw a small cave, which had 2 important things. 1 was a small drawing of a map, which showed the waterfall, and then heaven and the Jade Emperor. He knew he would be there someday. He also saw a exit to a beautiful land, perfect for a monkey. Full of huge trees and bannana's, this is where he would live.
I think the stone monkey could make it back.I think he will make it back because he was shure that he would make it. But I also think that he will make it back because he would become king. I also dont think he will make it back because mabey he wanted to keep it to him self or he could not find away back.
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey and the universe guy should have a battle! I think whoever wins should get to be the ruler of the universe. The monkey should win because he has a since of humor. The other guy should have to learn how to just wonder and not have to know everything. The monkey will be so awesome if he beats the other guy and no one will question him ever.
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey should have returned A divine light came from the sky as the monkey return to the ground he a golden crown and a golden staff. All the monkey's sat there in awe. "As one said our king is the Monkey King".

But then another monkeys comes out and says," wait wait i bet i can do that watch. The stone monkey will say," if you can do it you can be king and i will leave forever. The other monkey backs up and runs into the waterfall. There is a long pause. He never comes out.
ReplyDeleteAs the mysterious and boastful monkey born of heaven and earth jumped into the waterfall you could hear the soft surprised gasp of the other monkeys. The curious monkey inquired, "Do you think he will come out? I don't because going inside the waterfall is dangerous." But standing small and dripping wet inside the waterfall, the mysterious monkey saw what all the other monkeys have ever dreamed of. He saw gold woven into all the walls of the cave inside the waterfall. He also diamonds and jewels and gold objects all over the floor. On the outside near the walls were fruit trees with golden fruit and pools of water so clear that if you were a skeleton you couldn't see it. In the middle of the cave was the most juicy and delicious golden fruit that you could have ever tasted in your lifetime. The mysterious monkey ran to the middle tree and climbed up the silver bark and carefully took a piece of fruit off of the tree. He stayed there for 9 hours until he felt like coming back and boasting to the other monkeys that he was right and he is now their king.
ReplyDeleteI think that the stone monkey will come back through the waterfall. After he comes back I think one of the monkeys will try to do the same and not return. And then the stone monkey will have to go get the monkey. I think he will be able to come back because he was born of Heaven and Earth. Next he'll become the king of the monkey clan. Also I think that the monkey king will make food appear and all of the monkeys will be grateful.
ReplyDeleteI think the stone monkey will come back because maybe on the inside he is stone and cant brake or die so that is why he wanted to go. When he went into the waterfall maybe he fell in somewhere, where he doesn't know where he is so he has to find his way back through the waterfall. When he comes back he wont get the throne maybe because they were kidding and they just wanted to know what was on the other side. If he does get the throne then he will be known forever and always. Since he went through the waterfall after he went through the waterfall he figured out what was on the other side and died and then the other monkeys have to figure it out because it was safe or bad, maybe if it was bad he would come back and tell but if it is good on the other side then he would die.

They will then blame him and say that it isn't the monkey that jumped into the waterfall and that that monkey is at the bottom of the waterfall dead. The monkey will jump back through the waterfall and have the Grandmother monkey look into his eyes because it said that they were the strangest eyes that she's ever seen. She will tell the monkeys that it is him. They will then make him king.
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey went through the waterfall easily because it wouldn't of hurt them. And i don't think it would of been right to say "whoever went through the waterfall was the king" because that's just like saying "whoever does this is gonna be this".
ReplyDeleteHe should make it through the water fall. On the other side of the waterfall it she be really really beautiful. It should be like a different world over there. He shall come back and be the king.He should take ever monkey on the other side one by one. They should love it over there but then the king of heaven and earth should come down then its to be continued.
ReplyDeleteMonkey went through and found that there were a lot of fruits and trees. About an hour later Monkey came back and told them so now i found a lot of fruits you will worship me. The older monkey told him to take them there. When they go through it is very dark then they felt a cool breeze and saw light. All the other Monkeys did not want him king because they thought he could not be trusted. Monkey got mad and ran off and he was never scene again. So they made Grandpa monkey king.
ReplyDeleteI think what will happen next is that the monkey will come back. The monkey will come back because he was born of the universe and earth. When the monkey gets back I think that he will be king of the monkey clan. He then will tell them that there is a very large amount of fruits there. He will then get everyone safely across to the vegetation. They will then find a nice tree and make their new home. After they make their home they will go out and get fruit and bring them back. When they get back they will then eat and live happily ever after.
ReplyDeleteThe monkey was very fast as he went it took him only a moment to go in and out of it. He came out. All the other monkeys were awe struck. He became king. He was loved by all the monkeys.
ReplyDeleteI think that the monkey would make it because he was made by a rock. I also think that he would make it bake because he was offered to become king and he would be so exited that he would get extra stagth and make it.
ReplyDeleteWhat I think will happen next is the monkey will pop his head out to show them hes fine. And then another monkey will try but vanish to never be seen again, after the monkey is done talking about what it was like on the side. and after the other monkey vanishes they all deside the the monkey is magical. and make them there king, but some how gets in trouble with Jade Emperor.
ReplyDeleteWhat I think that happens next is that since that kind of monkey is from the Heaven and the Earth that I would not under estimate him. One of the reasons I say that is because you have never had herd of something like that before. And that he was the only one that choose to jump.
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey vanished because he wanted to live somewhere else that had crystal waters and fruit and where he could rule his on universe and have what ever he wanted
ReplyDeleteThen he fell 10 thousand feet in to the roaring waters. He plunged in the shark filled waters. Every shark in the sea was going after the monkey because they were curious sharks and they have never seen him before. Then he swam as fast as he could to the top because he needed to breathe. But all the sharks followed him. He swam to the shore of the roartachis sea and survived.
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey will make it back. This monkey was born in such an unusual way, he has to make it. I think all of the monkeys will think he died and then his glowing eyes shine through the waterfall. I think he will become the king. I also think the monkeys will respect him.
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey will see a cave. Then he sees something magical and he tells the others. They don't belive him. He tells them to go and see. But it's gone when they go and they think hes lieing.
ReplyDeleteI think the monkey should wait till the clan thinks that he is dead. And when he comes back he will have special powers. The monkeys would get mad. They think that he lied so he makes a storm and distroys the waterfall. The he goes on and distroys more monkey clans. Unless they believe him.
ReplyDeleteThe Stone Monkey fell down the waterfall for a long time because the waterfall was very tall. Miraculously Stone monkey survives the drop. But now the more difficult part comes, Stone Monkey must find a way up back to the monkey clan to claim his prize. Stone Monkey starts climbing back up the mountain. There are very few hand and foot holds but Stone Monkey is an expert climber and will get to the top soon to become king of the monkey clan.
ReplyDeleteI think that the monkey will make it because of how he was born will give him magical powers to help him exceed. He will make it back and be crowned king and this is how it will happen. He will walk for exactly twelve days, fourteen hours and thirty-five minutes, and forty seconds before he reaches the waterfall. when he gets there he will discover a beautiful place.A scene from the glow forest from AVATAR. he runs back to the rest and they do crown him king and worship him for until he dies. the rest of the story is abut how he rules.
