A battle between a samurai and a spartan... Well with a Spartan's MASSIVE shield, the samurai would have to get around that. Not to mention they're covered almost fully bronze body armor. And that long spear just might be able to pierce through the samurai's flexible armor. But for the samurai; they do have that armor that absorbs blows, so they don't take much damage. They are trained not only physically, but mentally as well. They are clever and cunning. So instead of thinking with there fists, they put that three pounds of jello between your ears to good use. Even so... Sometimes brute force wins over mind. So unless the samurai is going to cut off the Spartan's arms and legs and let him bleed to death; I say the Spartan would win. Purely because of all that armor and the fact that it's bronze. And there strength might be enough to pierce the armor of a samurai.
ReplyDeleteSpartan boys went into training when they were 7 and the Samurai go into training at the age of 5 and 6. Spartan was under strict military state and the Samurai was was also harsh but not as strict. The Spartan Women ran wrestled played sports and managed family estates and the Samurai Women had to stay inside at home. The Spartan had guns ans the Samurai also ha guns but mostly swords. I think that the Samurai would win because they had more calm training so they could focus and they had swords and guns.
ReplyDeleteThe Spartans went to military camp at 7 years old. When the samurai got there first weapons and clothing at 5-6 years old. They both train at a young age, and do hard brutal training. I think the samurai would win, because they have strong armor while the Spartans only had bronze plates and shin protecters. They also can cut swiftly and percisley with a sword.The samurai also thought there moves through before they acted; while the Spartans just attacked. The samurai had peace and belived in spirits to guide them. The Spartans just thought about fighting.
ReplyDeleteWomen also train to samurais and train at home with women,moms,wife. They have a dagger or a long swords. Women or men that are in a higher class get to go to temple. Women and men both have to learn the way of the warrior, learn Zen to meditate stay there for long hours night and day. Spartan women learn how to take care of livestock and farmland taxes. Women ran, and wrestled and played sports. Woman manged family estates. When boys turned seven they when to military camp. Lived in strictly ruled military state. Training was brutal (little food, clothing; expected to steal to survive).Men were giving clothing and a wooden sword at age 5-6. Men also trained at home with relatives, men, fathers.
ReplyDeleteSamurai warrior because they have stronger armor and kids were trained at 5 or 6 spartan were trained at 7 two things they have in common is they are very strong warriors two things they don't have in common is that they train diffrentley at 5 or 6 samurai kids would a wooden sword to start practice spartan at age seven would go to a milatary camp with little food or clothing. women would do sports in sparta women in japan would go to school and learn about math. That is why i think the samurai would win against a spartan.

i think spartan will win the battle because their trained to be the best and they are brutal warriors.
the spartans were very cruel, mean, bloodthirsty, people. they would start triaining at 7 years old but they were determained weither they could fight or not when they were born. the samurai were religious, smart, people who weren't afraid to kill someone if they had to. they started training very young with there relitives as there trainers. they got there clothes and wodded sword when they were very young like the spartans they also recived a education from parents or they were sent to a school. they were very clever and very smart they were able to stand still on a stump for days without moving there're training were not too hard but to teach you life skills like running on snow barefoot and standing on a log for days with out moving but the spartans were very strict in there training i dont remember what they did but I'm sure it was hard to do both sides had woman in there groups btu the spartans wifes were a lot tougher than the samurai they wrestled and fought and they managed family estates were the samurais wifes were house wifes who would kill or hurt you if you tried to hurt them. i think the SAMURAI would win because theymare mentally and phisically trained and they would hurt them if you tried to hurt or kill them they might not be as strong but they are surtantly mentally more tough then any worrior ever!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat they have in common: Both trained at very young ages. Both trained very vigorously. Both use weapons such as swords and daggers.
ReplyDeleteSamurai Warriors: They have schools where the learn the basic things such as math, social studies, etc. The warriors had very strong armor that they wore.
Parents would give them clothes and other items that have to do with samurai warriors at young ages.
Spartan Warriors: Live in a strict military rule. They got little food or clothing while training. Spartan Warriors were more expendable and there are more of them where the Samurai Warriors are like a dime a dozen meaning that there aren't very many of them.
If they went to battle, I would say that the Samurai Warrior would win because they have more smarts and could use that to their advantage.
The young spartans start training camp at the age of 7 and the young samurais get trained at age 5 or 6. The young samurais trained with wooden swords, bow and arrows,daggers, and long swords.The samurais eat little food so as the spartans. The samurais armor is made out of leather and bamboo. The spartans armor are made out of bronze. The spartans did wrestling,running and play other sports. The samurais sports was martial arts. They trained at a really young age. I would say that the samurais would win because they stared at a really young and they have a weapons that there really good at and also good at martial arts.
ReplyDeleteSomething that is the same between the two is they were both trained very well for battle. Something that was different between them is that the Samurai Warriors were not only trained phiscally but mentally also. Another thing that was different was that the Spartans didn't have very good armor and the Samurai had very strong armor that was difficult to get through. Another thing that was the same was that they both started training at a young age. I think that if they battled that the Samurai Warrior would win because they would think ahead of time before they made their move instead of just striking at their opponent like the Spartans did.

ReplyDeleteSamurais:children were taught reading and writing, for wealthier families children had special classes for training the children to fight, the lower class of children were taught by their fathers or other male relatives, they had to become able to withstand discomfort, and keep still for long periods of time, had special woven protection suits, they were more spiritually ready for battles because of strong religious beliefs
If the Greek Spartans and the Japanese Samurais went into war that the Samurais would win. Even if the Spartans have a strict military rule, the Samurais have better protection and better weapons then the Spartans. Also the Samurais have more spiritual beliefs than the Spartans.
they both started training at young age. the Samurai wore clothing that when hit it will not go through the material. the Spartans just had shields to protect them with long spears. i think the Samurai would win cause there protection will take a hit by a sword and not go through the material at all and they could stay in a position for a long period of time.

The kids also got wooden swords at ages 5-6. the samurai also where good at fighting. the spartans only had bronze chest plates and the samurais had armor all over there body. womon also had daggers. the spartans only practiced combat.
ReplyDeleteThe spartan warriors pick the best ones to fight.the The samurai warriors they pick any body to be able to fight. training was brutal for the Spartan warriors. Training was brutal for the Samurai warriors too they had to be able to with stand the brutal training also.

The Samurai has three sords. They have 2 sometimes do a sacrofic.The Samurai take there little sord. Stap them self trow there heart a longes. Than they bow and then a other Samurai cuts there head off with the big sord. The Spartans turn. When boys tern sevon,they were sent to military camps. The Spartans as lived in a strictly ruled military state. I think the Samurai will when a war because they have three sords and its sounds like they have more training with the sords.

ReplyDeleteSamurai: the armor (made out of rawhide plates) is very flexible;it can bend a sword. Wasn't the sword a yumi? Spartan: they only had chest plates shin guards and a helmet correct? Samurai they did takwando,tiche,karate and other positions to help them in war.Samurai when they where at least 5-6 they got their first wooden sword.Samurai: They had to endure things that would help them in battle they had to stand on a stump with good posture. They had to stand in snow to make sure they can withstand that temperature. Spartans : when they were 7 they had to start training.
ReplyDeleteYes I know I'm not going to put a whole lot 4 spartans. I think the samurai would win after all they have guns good armor they know KARATE and positions to help them win plus you they MUST with stand it. O and BTW the females practiced the positions as well the men; but the females and males of higher class had better places to practice.The Sparta women were also allowed to be in boot camp fitness with men and such. Is this ok?
Spartan's: Strong worriers that trained 24/7 with brutal training . And even had the women wrestle and play sports..Samurai: Were mentally trained from reading and writing. They had long sessions of hard work/traininig to be a worrier/Samurai. Both: Had strong armor. And both had a strict military base... But I think that the Spartans would win because all there life all they have known was fightin. And when they were 7 they've been training and defend themselves in battles. They are physically ready for any weapon or person that comes there way. They also are geared right, with there sword and sheild made out of brauns metal.
ReplyDeleteSamurai would be more inteligant than the spartans because the samurai was taut more than to swing a blade. But the Spartans were force to steal to survive when their at a young age and they had tougher training than the samurai did. They both were comited to defend their homes. Both would fight to the death or die trying. Both sides had tough women, Spartan women wresled and come peated in sports.

I think that the samuri would win because the spartan has to much to carry and would be harder to move around while th smuria clothing is the lite and moves more swiftly
The samuri sword is long and can reach the enemy easier the Spartans are blood thirsty and strongrt but the samuri uses there brains to make smart decisions
I think samurai warriors would win because they start there training at 5 or 6 years old and Spartans start at age 7 so a 2 or 1 year difference. Spartans are taken and put into boot camp and have to steal to survive and samurai train with there fathers or become apprentices and train like walking barefoot in the snow. Spartan women played sports wrestled and ran and managed family estates and samurai women would be taught to defend themselves and stay home. Spartan armor are chest plates and shin guards and samurai wear colorful armor made by hand.

-Higher class girls went to school to learn how to be a Samurai and fight as well.
-Young girls were mostly taught how to handle a kitchen and housework rather than fighting.
-Young boys were trained on fighting more than girls.
-Ninjas were a popular group.
-Ninjas wore black as well as hiding in the shadows.
-Some types of fighting were karate, tak wan do, hai chi. These are all parts of martial arts.

1st similar is the women stayed home to be wives, mothers, and managers of the home.

1st difference is samurai children were trained at the age of 5 or 6.
2nd difference is the samurai more focused on loyalty, obedience, and a right mindset instead of a strict military rule.
I think the samurai would win in a battle because the samurai had better training, better weapons, better armor, and were mentally stronger. They were also physically stronger. The samurai also trained spiritually.
I think samurai warriors would win because the young boys would start at 5 or 6 and the Spartans would start at age 7 and they stayed there tell they were 22. the samurais had to walk in snow without snow and keep very good paster standing on a stump for and very long time.Samurai women were taught how to defend themselves and had to stay home. the spartan women played sports wrestled and ran and managed family.samurai are very different because the young boys would start 2 or 1 years in head of the Spartans.
ReplyDeleteI think the samurai would win a battle against a spartan. Although both warriors are trained at a young age, and go through harsh training. The samurai is train for mental and phisical challenges,and he is trained to keep calm and stay focused. While the spartans were just trained to have no mercy and fight like crazy. Also the samurai came at a later time where there were new inventions such as flexible armor, new improved weapons, and gunpowder. Spartans have less body armor, and just one shield. If the fight was earlier in time it would be a pretty close one, but I would say the samurai would win just because of their mental training and improved equipment. If it was a little bit later the samurai would win by a long shot. One shot in the head from a Japanese gun would kill a spartan before he could charge the samurai.

The samurai had protect clothing that was flexible with whatever they did. It also was carefully threaded by man. Both groups of armies started training at a very young age. Spartans and samurai both fought to death or at least died trying.
ReplyDeleteTwo different things about the spartans and the samurais are the boys in sparta start a military camp at age 7 and in samurai training they get battle armor and a wooden sword at age 5 or 6. Also the training in sparta is brutal and in samurai training they I think are the worst because they have to stand still, fast, and walk in the snow bare foot. Two things that are the same about spartan's and samurais are the spartan women managed the family estate and in japan the samurai women took care of the house and themselves. The spartan women ran wrestled and played sports but the Japanese women trained to be samurai but never went to battle they still were train to defend themselves. If the Greek Spartan's and the Japanese Samurai's went to battle I think the Samurai's would win because they had guns and started training sooner and have better battle armor the Spartans don't have the more update armor and weapons.

ReplyDeleteContrast:The samurai can have both boys and girls for warriors but the spartan only wants boys to become warriors. Anybody can become a samurai but only the best of the best can become a spartan.
The samurai would win over the spartan because the samurai can be patient for the right strike and the spartan just wanted to attack no matter what. Also the samurai trained long and hard to be a master samurai,when the spartan just want to win all the time. The samurai would rather be killed in honor than be captured by the enemy and the spartan doesn't care who gets killed,they just want to win.
I think the samurai warriors because the spartans were more that they would just attack but the samurai think a couple moves ahead. I also think they would win because samurai boys start training at 5 or 6 and the spartans started at 7.Also Spartans were more war machines but the Samurai and morals. Although they are diffrent in many ways they are also alike. Both groups sent there children to some sort of military training or school. Also both of the groups woman were trained as well. They both had to manage the family estate. I think those are the many reasons that the samurai would win.

The girls in Greek Spartans had to manage family estates.
Samurai and Spartan are different because Spartan wear metal armor like chest plates but Samurai wore armor made by hand and reflects the personality of the samurai wearing it. Spartan were put in boot camps when young and Samurai is trained by their father under harsh conditions. Men of both Spartan and Samurais start training at a young age. 5, 6, 7, etc. Women stay home and manage it there in both places, but with the Japanese the women learn to defend themselves but don't go into battle. I think Samurai would win because they get trained both physically and mentally.
