  7. 1. The groups are the Earth which is "eating" the Europeans which is "eating" the Asians.
    2. The people on the left are the Chinese and they are trying to stop the Europeans from coming in and taking over their land.
    3. The event that is occurring is Cecil Rhodes is trying to connect north Africa to South Africa by a rail rode. The man is Cecil Rhodes he thinks that he as a European is better than all of Africa.
    4. Clues in this cartoon that give away that it deals with Great Britain and Australia is that there is a man on the land and he looks like he is dictating the people in the boat. And Great Britain loved to dictate people and take over their land. There is a kangaroo on the boat and people with lion faces in the boat and that represents Australia.
    5. Great Britain has taken over there land and China doesn't want any part of it and they want there land back.

  8. 1. The three people/group that are there is King Leopold II and the Europeans chasing out some of the Chinese from some of the Chinese's land.
    2.I believe the person to the left is probably the ruler or emperor of China.
    3.The man spanning over Africa is King Leopold II and the event that is taking place is the fact that he laid down railroads on South Africa across to Egypt.
    4.What helps in the picture to tell that is Britain and Australia is the fact that there is a Kangaroo in the boat which normally points into the direction of Australia. Then to tell that it is Britain is the fact that there outfit kind of looks like a suit thing that they wear for wars and stuff.Plus the pattern on the outfit is of the British flag so you could probably assume that they are from Britain.
    5. The event I think has taken place is a revolt or war. It looks as though China fell and lost again and they are angry.
    6.I believe that it is the countries that are being conquered point of view. Because they see England as a cruel country. In the picture it is picturing an person/octopus thing dominating India, Egypt, Canada, Jamaica, etc.

    2. i think their was maybe some african's or some people trying to stop somebody from destroying land or property.
    3. Trying to own all of the land and maybe more.
    4. The water and how they are sailing and the land how the people aren't letting him on and they are arguing about something.
    5.They are having a fight about something that they don't agree on. Or one of the guys is making one of the other guys do something for him. I really don't know or understand.

    2. They look like soldiers with their pickle head helmets:), And I think they are trying to protect the truck looking thing from knocking down trees/ deforestation.
    3. I remembered talking about this but I don't remember the person in the picture. I think it was King Leapold the second. And he wanted to have a railroad from one city to the next (a straight shot)

    2.The people on the left are the western forigners coming into China and they are trying to hep the people in China with improving their technology after being shut off from the rest of the world.

    2. Chinese people are trying to stop the European's from encroaching on and taking over their country.

    3. King Leopold 11 is trying to connect Africa and Europe. He thinks that Europeans are better and wants to make Africans give resources and more civilized.

    4. There is a kangaroo and I associate kangaroos with Australia, and there is a man directing the boat from the land with a lion head. Lions are strong and dominant and that is what the British think of themselves.

  61. 1. he's obviously a little power-hungry and I think he might have an opinion like Cecil Rhodes thinking he's better than all the non-Europeans and the think the other "fish" represent (the larger one) the Japanese or Chinese people or something and (the smaller one) the Africans.
    The people on the left are the Japanese people and I'm pretty sure they are trying to stop the British with all their technology and maybe the train is carrying the opium or something.
    3. The person in this picture is actually Cecil Rhodes I think stepping on Egypt and South African, the only two places in African with occupants for Britain. I believe his body represents the path of a railway.
