8th Grade SOS #2

Flag, noun, piece of cloth, usually bunting or similar light material, plain, colored, or bearing a device, varying in size and shape, but often oblong or square, used as an ensign, standard, or signal or for display and decorative purposes, and generally attached at one edge to a staff or to a halyard by which it may be hoisted.

In the British colonies of North America before the Revolution, each of the 13 colonies had its flag.  The flag that will unite the colonies into one nation will change along with the nation it flies over.

    2. That the U.S Flag can never be worn as clothing. I have heard that the Flag cannot be on the ground. But it is very odd that they would make up a rule like that. Why would anyone really wear the flag as clothing? I don't know!
    3. Question 1: The First Official Flag Had:
    13 stars and 13 stripes.
    4. I think that the colors should be different. As far as I know, the American Flag has always been red, white, and blue. I think America should "step outside the box" and go for some pinks or purples or baby blues.

I thought it was amazing that there is no actual recording of the real colors of the flag.Of course, it may be incorrect since you can't believe everything you read and hear or you would be gullible. I got the question "Who made the first flag design". I said Hopkins. I would not make any changes because it is a good representation of the country even though our country is starting to and already is drifting away from what it once believed.
